Course Outline:

Module 1: Introduction to Tajweed

• Understanding the importance and benefits of Tajweed in Quranic recitation.
• The history and development of Tajweed.
• The relationship between Tajweed and the preservation of the Quran.
• The role of Tajweed in enhancing the beauty and impact of recitation.

Module 2: Articulation Points and Characteristics of Letters

• Detailed study of the points of articulation (Makharij) for Arabic letters.
• Understanding the characteristics (Sifat) of different letters.
• Proper pronunciation and articulation exercises.
• Practical application of articulation points and characteristics in recitation.

Module 3: Tajweed Rules and Recitation Techniques

• Study of essential Tajweed rules, including rules of elongation (Madd), stopping (Waqf), and merging (Idgham).
• Application of Tajweed rules in recitation practice.
• Common mistakes in recitation and how to avoid them.
• Techniques for improving voice modulation, rhythm, and fluency.
